We're a leading provider of Forest Schools in Cumbria. In addition to our Forest School sessions, we offer accredited Open Awards training and Continuing Professional Development to teachers, teaching assistants, wildlife rangers, creative practitioners, youth workers and other professionals.

Forest Schools Programme

Forest School is an inspirational process, that offers children and young people opportunities to achieve, develop confidence, independence, creativity and self-esteem through hands on learning experiences in a local woodland environment.

Open Awards Training

Accredited Open Awards Forest School training has become the national recognised standard for Forest School providers. Wild at Heart aims to equip students with the confidence and skills to support learners in Forest School provision at their chosen level.

Wild at Heart offers CPD days: half days and twilight sessions aimed at Forest School Practitioners but also suitable for any adults working with children or young people in the outdoors.
